Definition: "CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning fitness program based on constantly varied, functional movements, executed at high intensity." CrossFit combines elements of Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics and sprinting, often in the form of interval training or circuit training. The fitness that CrossFit advocates and develops is deliberately broad, general and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

CrossFit is unique compared to other fitness programs, in that it focuses on functional transfer of fitness to real life and results, and not simply on aesthetics. Big commercial gyms are usually filled with exercise machines that train only one muscle group. The human body rarely operates with muscles in isolation. The fitness that CrossFit offers is based on using your muscles with compound movements as you would in nature. We teach you to move your body, not machines. This is all done in a community atmosphere full of fun, competition and support.

Our facility is completely private so you won’t have to wait for any equipment to become available. We will demonstrate every exercise that you may not be familiar with and supervise you throughout the entire work out to make sure you maintain proper technique.
